The negotiated opening room rate is $119.00 per night. The resort fee has been waved for our group. Additionally a limited number of 2 bedroom Villas will be available at $219 per night.
Parking included for those staying in the hotel however attendees not staying at the hotel will be required to pay a discounted rate of $10 per day.
The hotel cannot guarantee room placement, but they can attempt to link rooms together in our block. To do this, you reserve both rooms early, and email both confirmation numbers to mp-hotel@megaplexcon.org. As the room block fills up, requests for connecting rooms are difficult to fulfill.
The hotel puts a hold on debit cards at check-in for the estimated cost of your stay, including potential incidentals. You will not be able to access the funds in your account under this hold until it clears, and the hold can sometimes remain for several days after you check out. We highly recommend that you check in using a regular credit card if you can, or else try to reduce the hold amount by asking the hotel to turn off all "extras" (i.e. pay-per-view TV, long-distance, etc.) for your room when you check in.
The hotel does have pet friendly rooms in designated areas of the the hotel. For information on hotel Pet Policy visit the hotels Pet Laws page. To our attendees: Please be respectful of service animals and their owners. Always ask first before petting the animal.
Smoking anywhere in the hotel is prohibited. Please ask the Front Desk for locations of designated outdoor smoking areas.
The hotel has multiple Outdoor Pools and Spas available to hotel guests.
The hotel has multiple restaurants open for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as multiple bars. For late night snacks and sandwiches visit the Cafe 24 on hotel property which is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The convention Sponsor Suite provides snacks, drinks and sandwiches to sponsor and higher level members.
Outside the hotel, there are dozens of restaurants within walking distance, and many more within a couple miles driving range. A list of area restaurants can be obtained from the hotel on your arrival, or you can reference tripadvisor.com.
While the Hotels unfortunately do not offer shuttle service to and from the airport we do arrange a discounted rate with Mears for Megaplex attendees. Check back closer to the con for additional details.
