Thanks for your interest in helping out Megaplex!
Everyone bearing the title of "staff" is a dedicated volunteer member of our team who likes to really get involved with the convention. Staff members typically Volunteer at least 8 hours of their time, each day of the convention. Certain roles require availability before or after the convention as well. As a staff member you will be added to our staff mailing list where you can lend your input and ideas as we plan and coordinate for the convention throughout the year.
Along with the warm fuzzy feeling that comes with helping, you'll also receive free attendance to the convention, access to the sponsor lounge, and staff-exclusive garb.
We have not yet started accepting staff applications for this year but hope to be opening soon.
Please Note that all staff positions, including the Board of Directors, are volunteer positions and DO NOT receive financial compensation for hours worked. We do this because we want to give back to the community.
Please note that you must be 18 or older at the time of the convention to be on staff. If you are between the ages of 16-17, apply as a volunteer.
